John specializes in visioning, master planning and urban design studies for mixed-use communities, transit-oriented developments, commercial centres, streetscapes and recreational systems.
With a strong background in the public and private sectors, John has a proven ability to balance jurisdictional requirements with client and stakeholder priorities, applying leading edge design thinking to create unique, innovative and functional places which contribute to the quality of the built environment in the GTA.
His projects include urban design and planning for large scale community master plans, mixed-use developments, employment and commercial developments, major urban streets, parks and open space systems. He has led the coordination and preparation of urban design guidelines, visioning programs, public consultation processes, calculation of budgets and the detailed design for several award-winning projects.
